Be realistic. Everyone wants the top rates of return with no risk at all. But that’s not possible. In order to see your money grow, you may have to take some risk with part of it. Make sure you’re aware of the level of risk you’re prepared to take. Some plans, which put part of your money into shares, may seem riskier than they really are. Remember, if you don't need to take your money out in the short term, you can afford some element of uncertainty. But don’t ever lose sight of what investment risk is and make sure you understand the level of risk involved in the product you invest in.
