Stocks and Shares ISAs are a tax-efficient investment, designed by the government to encourage us to invest our money. There are some limits (currently £7,200 a year) and there are some rules - but if you are a tax payer and fancy investing in stocks and shares, bond or property investments then these are definitely worth a look.
You can put the full £7,200 into shares or funds, or split your investment down into categories. The rules about how you do this are strict so make sure you understand the rules or take advice before you part with your money. Falling foul of the ISA rules means that you will not get any tax benefits.
