Protecting the ones you love is always a priority but protecting your finances can seem less obvious. 

Understandably it can be difficult to think about how you’ll manage if you are ill or unemployed or how your family will cope when you die.  However, taking steps to make sure that money itself doesn’t become part of the problem for you or those you leave behind can be a comfort.
